We had been looking for retirement area with plenty of golf and lakes and had pretty much settled on Bella Vista, AR. We could not find a home in Bella Vista and Rebecca went online and looked for other golf and lake communities close to KC and she found HSV. We asked a Golf Pro in Bella Vista if he had been to HSV and he raved about how he and his group of friends have taken at least one trip a year to HSV for the golf and lake activities.
We visited HSV and were very impressed by the lakes and all the golf courses. We played Diamante and I really enjoyed the challenge and the beauty of the course, even in the winter. We found a beautiful home on the #17 fairway and moved in August 2021.
There are three things that we really enjoy about being a member at Diamante:
The people. We both comment to each other how the people are so warm and welcoming and want to get to know the "newbies."
The challenge and play ability of Diamante CC. No two holes are alike and you do not see another group on the course except at the turn of the nines and at the Clubhouse.
The golf course is very playable but not one you get "tired" of playing. The tee ball landing areas are generous but you have excellent challenges of shots to the greens, and the greens themselves make you really think on your putts.
